Some say Jesus faked his resurrection but his grave was sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers to prevent this very scandal:
The next day, that is, after the day of Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered before Pilate 63 and said, “Sir, we remember what that impostor said while he was still alive, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ 64 Therefore command the tomb to be made secure until the third day; otherwise his disciples may go and steal him away, and tell the people, ‘He has been raised from the dead,’ and the last deception would be worse than the first.” 65 Pilate said to them, “You have a guard[t] of soldiers; go, make it as secure as you can.”[u] 66 So they went with the guard and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone.

Many theories float around out there downplaying the finished work Jesus did on the cross. Some folks, even pervert or pollute the Gospel and say Jesus died and rose for more than the mere fact to rescue us from spiritual death and to give us new life, spiritually. This new birth, in our spirits, isn’t some New Age Spiritual Awakening or some get rich quick plan via Jesus through prosperity built through magical faith, but this second birth is to save us from a second death other than spiritual deadness but deadness after this life in a place called: HELL.
Hell is for all who reject or don’t know God through Jesus Christ and believe that He is who the Bible claims He is: the Savior of the World, the Redeemer of our sins, and the Lord of our lives should we choose to humble ourselves and believe in Him.
I beg you to not be misinformed. Don’t think being a church-goer is okay. Don’t think your self-righteousness is enough to get into heaven. Don’t think you can have fellowship with Holy Spirit apart from hearing and believing and reading God’s Word through the Holy Bible. Don’t think you can name and claim your selfish desires and coat them with godly things and believe that is spreading the Gospel to the world. Also, don’t think Jesus was just a cool teacher or a radical prophet. Believe He is God, and that He has the power to forgive your sins. And trust in Him and believe in Him to become BORN-AGAIN!

Who would I be without Christ Jesus?
And there cannot be a single Christian without the birth, the life, the death, the resurrection, and the ascension of Jesus Christ.
Though no one can boast in their salvation, and forgive me for my Americanness to seem a little gloaty and show-boaty, but the Lord literally is my prize in the race of life I run and I compelled, much like Paul, to spread the Good News!

All and all, I hope you had a wonderful day today, and if life is weighty and you find it hard to be joyful… Another day will come, but I would argue if every day were bad for the rest of your life, what does it all matter compared to what awaits you in eternity? Hold on, and suffer just a little longer, you labor in faith, not in vain…
