In this video, I share my testimony of learning to fear God, and why it is so crucial to pursue Jesus in Spirit and in Truth.

The main scripture that opened my eyes was Proverbs 9:10 (ESV).

No matter how much you love God, no matter how much you want to bring him glory, none of that matters if you don’t fear Him. The Fear of the Lord is like a compass to steer us toward His truth, to rightly hear God’s word and to be motivated to do His word.

Fearing God isn’t scary. Fearing God stems from loving Him.
